Krista Maes, acting managing director of the Vlaamse Waterweg: “The tourist season was the print in September and that is why we decided to abandon the ferry until 14 September instead of the end of August. The preparations for repairing the damaged bridge are now busy. We are striving to be able to appoint a contractor this year.”
