Two festivals took place in Haarlem last weekend. The annual Haarlem Jazz & More and the New festival ‘No More’. The police confirm that the street robberies took place during one of these two events.
Threatened and robbed
On Friday, August 15, four minor suspects committed a street robbery around 2.40 pm, threatening the victim with a firearm. They were arrested shortly after the robbery.
Later that evening, around 7.30 p.m., someone will be robbed again. This time by three young adults, from 18, 19 and 20 years old, from Amsterdam and Zwaanshoek. Here too the victim was threatened.
The seven suspects are currently still stuck for interrogation. The police are still investigating whether there is a connection between the two incidents.
