From Wednesday, Rhythmic sports gymnasts will be fighting for medals in the Olympic Park of Rio de Janeiro. Nine years after the Olympics, the sport returns to the Brazilian metropolis.
When do they start Gymnastics world championships?

The German national group competes with Helena Ripken, Anja Kosan, Emilia Wickert, Anna-Maria Shatokhin, Olivia Falk and Melanie Dargel. Katja Tenenbaum is available as a replacement gymnast.
What opportunities do the German gymnasts have?
The Olympic champion Varfolomeev is one of the top favorites – both in all -around and in the single equipment finishes. The 18-year-old from TSV Schmiden is a five-time World Cup title defender. At the past world championships in Valencia, the athlete of the year managed the historic masterpiece and won all five possible individual titles.
