The season for Lukas Nmecha could not have started better. In his first game he became a match winner.
Lukas Nmecha celebrated a compete of his new club. In the first game of the Premier League season, the 26-year-old scored the decisive goal for Leeds United-and secured his team three points.
The striker converted a penalty to 1-0 (0: 0) victory against FC Everton in the 84th minute. He gave the promoted start to the new season.
NMECHA had moved from VfL Wolfsburg to Leeds after the end of last season. The club is trained by the German trainer Daniel Farke, who previously stood on the sidelines at Borussia Mönchengladbach. Sebastiaan Bornauw, previously team -mate NMECHAS in Wolfsburg, is now running for Leeds.
Born in Hamburg, he had been trained at Manchester City in his youth and also came to two short missions in the Premier League. In 2019 he initially moved to Wolfsburg on a loan, where the Lower Saxony committed him two years later. Between 2021 and 2022, NMECHA under coach Hansi Flick completed seven games for the German national team. His brother Felix is currently under contract with Borussia Dortmund.
