Oliver Baumann is known to take a lot of time for his fans. Even after the cup victory against Rostock, he delighted a young Hoffenheim supporter.

TSG Hoffenheim mastered the first round in the DFB Cup with flying colors. On Saturday, the team of coach Christian Ilzer won 4-0 against third division club Hansa Rostock. After the game, TSG goalkeeper Oliver Baumann was a guest at ARD in an interview when the goalkeeper received a curious request from two young fans.

A boy held up a sign on which it was written: “Tausche brother against gloves.” The young Hoffenheim supporter brother was also right next to him. Baumann came up with the two with the words “I don’t go to the child” and shook their hands on them, as a video from TSG Hoffenheim on Instagram shows.

Then Baumann asked one of the two: “You should with me?” The two fans nodded. National player Baumann then took off his jersey and gave it to the trailer with the sign, who then thanked and beamed. The goalkeeper then disappeared into the catacombs.

Baumann was praised for his action. So ours wrote ours on social media: “Ehrenmann, our Oli.” Another person said: “Thank you, Oli. That turns you out. You are.”

Baumann has been under contract with TSG Hoffenheim since 2014. Before that, he played for SC Freiburg and also went through the club’s youth teams. He made his debut for the national team in October last year. Baumann has been in use four times since then and played the quarter -finals in the Nations League.
