Wirtz becomes a seller in Liverpool

Florian Wirtz opened the new season in the Premier League with FC Liverpool on Friday. Germany’s footballer of the year is aiming for successful title defense with the Reds.
When Arne Slot watches Florian Wirtz at work on the lawn at FC Liverpool, the team manager of the English master sometimes does not trust his eyes. “If you see him play, you think: Is that serious? He’s so creative,” said Slot – and is in good company.
