The DFB has slightly increased the men’s cup premiums. According to the association, there are a total of 75 million euros in the pot this season.
The increase amounts to around 800,000 euros compared to the previous year. Each of the 64 first-round participants automatically receives 211,886 euros (previous year: 209,453 euros). As last, there is 4.32 million euros for victory in the final, the final loser can comfort itself with 2.88 million. The final will take place on May 23, 2026 in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
Doubling from round to round
Until the semi -finals, the premiums are doubled from round to round. Accordingly, there is 423,772 euros (instead of 418,906 euros) for the second round, 847,544 euros (previously 837,813 euros), for the quarter -finals 1.7 million euros (previously 1.68 million) and 3.39 million (previously 3.35 million).
After the first round start this Friday, the 2nd round will continue on October 28th and 29th. The round of 16 games will take place on December 2 and 3, the quarter-finals on February 3 and 4 and on February 10 and 11, 2026. On April 21 and 22, 2026, the semi-finals rise.
