It was only on Monday (August 11th) Travis Kelce, football player and partner of Swift, and his brother Jason Kelce announced a “very special special guest” for the new episode of her podcast “New Heights”. It was quickly clear to the singer’s fans that none other than Taylor Swift would be the special guest. A little later the assumption was confirmed: the megastar will be heard on Wednesday (August 13) in the brothers’ podcast.
In a short teaser clip of the upcoming episode, Swift sits next to Travis Kelce. Also included: a mint green plate case with its initials in orange letters. “I wanted to show you something,” she says to Jason. “This is my brand new album the life of a showgirl.”
The beginning of a new era
This twelfth studio album also begins a new era in the Taylor Swift universe. Every musical “era” swift is embodied by its own color. With The Life of a Showgirl, apparently an orange phase is announcing.
Fans already suspected this when the official Instagram account “Taylornation” a picture carousel with recordings of the “Eras Tour” of the singer with the caption “When she said: ‘See you in the next era …'”.

The description states that the articles are sent before October 13, 2025. However, this is not the date of publication. The album artwork will also only be unveiled at a later date.
