Police picks up 18-year-old man who scored seven Flemish monasteries via the internet

The Internet crime team of the Antwerp police warns Flemish monastery sisters to be extra alert to phishing practices, after various monastic orders became the victims of refined scam methods. At the end of July a suspect could be arrested in connection with a phishing case that mainly affects religious institutions. That’s how the gang proceeded.
