“This offer comes on top of the tourist trains that run to the coast all summer,” explains Bart Crols, spokesperson for NMBS. Due to the warm weather, the supply will be expanded this week with four extra trains towards the coast, to respond to the big demand of holidaymakers and day tourists. The trains run for four days to and from the coast.
Throughout the summer period there is a larger range of trains for tourists. “Not only do extra trains run to the coast throughout the summer, but also towards the Ardennes, amusement parks and nature reserves, the range has been expanded,” says Crols.
