I (50) stay at my parents at home for a week. They are already old and my husband and I are going to help with all kinds of chores in and around the house. A funeral has become 40 percent more expensive in the last 10 years. An average funeral or cremation now costs around 10,000 euros, the newsreader reports. To which my father (89) responds out loud: “Well, then I just put it on to die!”
