(toSkanews) – A speechless spot against gender -based violence: You are not alone It was presented at Giffoni Sport and wants to give voice to all those women who suffer physical and verbal violence, through a metaphorical fight alongside sports champions.
The initiative is part of the Giffoni Film Festival in the largest program on sports and psychophysical well -being.
Matteo Calveri, producer for the company “Summeet” of activities in the Healthcare field, speaks of a project born to shake consciences: You are not alone It is a short film that we had the honor of producing and that with great pride we will carry around Italy on a very important and high sensitivity theme such as that of gender -based violence.
Next to the spot, the presentation of the “Jk Defense Donna Forte” project, with the world champion, European and Italian of Karate Stefano Maniscalco, who together with Emanuele Bruno (European Judo champion), gave a demonstration of self -defense techniques.
The executive producer, Lorena Rutigliano: «Unfortunately gender violence does not look at the color of the skin, many women are involved. We must make all women understand that they are not alone and can rely on sportsmen, who can teach self -control and discipline to women who feel alone ».
“You don’t want anything,” the violent mantra repeats the spot on images of mute women. Roberta Mastromichele is the consnetor: «Here at Giffoni she is full of boys, also of kids who have listened to us carefully and our greatest responsibility is to sensitize them. It is there that we have to go, starting from them that the adults of tomorrow will be ».
Gilles Rocca, the director, wanted a silent spot: “The impact of the images is much stronger than so many words, women when they suffer are often silent within the walls of the house … above all I hope they see the men who are those who must be sensitized”.
