Almost a year after the takeover by Leineweber GmbH & Co. KG, there is a change at the top of Fuchs Schmitt. As of August 18, 2025, Heiko Lenz took over the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), as the outdoor specialist announced on Thursday.
Lenz will run the operational shops together with CEO Andrea Krumme. His appointment follows the farewell of CFO and commercial managing director Kai-Christian Richter. The company will leave the company at its own request.
In his new role as COO, Lenz will be responsible for procurement, logistics, personnel and customs, while CEO Krumme continues to act as a company spokeswoman and leads the areas of product, sales and marketing.

The designated COO most recently worked as Head of Purchasing & Supply Chain Management at Hallhuber GmbH, which has now been set. Previously, according to his profile in the LinkedIn career network, he was part of the Betty Barclay Group for over twelve years, where he was titled by the procurement manager of the Vera Mont division. He began his career in the industry as Head of procurement Europe at the Berlin Label Umlauf & Klein and as a branch and procurement manager at United Fashion Lab.
In particular, his experience in the areas of procurement and personnel management should now bring in as a COO at Fuchs Schmitt.
