Marco Neppe, formerly technical director at Bayern, could soon lead the fortunes of Paris FC. Appropriate discussions are already underway.
According to Sky, the French Ligue 1 promoted Paris FC is interested in signing Marco Neppe as a new technical director. The talks are currently underway between the parties. Marco Neppe, who most recently worked at Bayern Munich, could soon work for the ambitious French club.
In March 2024, Neppe had resolved his contract with the German record champions. After his time in Munich, he has worked as an external consultant for the MLS club Toronto FC since August 1, 2024. There he carried out a comprehensive analysis on various topics such as structures, academy, game philosophy and transfers.
In addition to Paris FC, associations such as Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb should also show interest in Neppe. Paris FC recently made the promotion to Ligue 1 and pursues ambitious goals. In the winter of 2024, the club was taken over by the Arnault, one of the richest families in the world, together with Red Bull.
With financial support from France and Austria, Paris FC wants to catch up in French football and position itself against the dominant Paris Saint-Germain. The developments around Marco Neppe could be another step in this direction.
