US President Donald Trump is enthusiastic about Sydney Sweeneys “Great genes”. And the fact that the Emmy-nominated actress is registered as a republican.

Trump about Sweeneey’s advertising: “Now I love her”

“Sydney Sweeney, a registered republican, has the ‘hotest’ advertising ever. It is for American Eagle, and the jeans go ‘away like warm rolls.’ Come on, Sydney! ”Trump wrote today on Truth Social. Trump apparently became aware of the growing debacle around Sweeney and her controversial American-Eagle-Denim campaign on Sunday. During a press conference with reporters, Trump was asked about reports that Sweeney was registered as a republican.

“She is registered as a republican?” Said Trump, “Oh, now I love her advertising.”

“You would be surprised how many people are Republicans,” he added. “I didn’t think that, but it’s good that you told me. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I find her advertising fantastic.”

Trump’s praise for SWEENEY he connected with another blonde American icon that he is not so enthusiastic about: Taylor Swift, whose support for the Democrats was never forgiven for the President.

“Take a look at the Woke singer Taylor Swift. Since I told the world what she was by writing to Truth, that I couldn’t stand her (hate!), She was boosted at the Super Bowl and is no longer hot. The mood has been totally turned-what is what is for losers, republicans, it is what you want,” the president wrote.

Taylor Swift as the enemy image of the right

However, Swift was not “boosted at the Super Bowl” and is still one of the most successful artists in the world – despite the bizarre Republican feud against them.

If Swift and Sweeney have something in common, it is that right -wing radical men project white nationalist values on their public presentation. Sweeneey’s cooperation with American Eagle used the slogan “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Genes Jeans”, a pun with the homophone “Genes/Jeans” to emphasize again that Sweeney is hot – whether in jeans or not.

“Genes are passed on by parents to descendants and often determine characteristics such as hair color, personality and even eye color. My jeans are blue,” said the actress in a commercial. The general tone of the campaign – a blonde, blue -eyed woman who celebrates how great her “genes” are – made online for enthusiastic reactions in racists and criticism from the left.

Right media defend Sweeney-and attack Woke criticism

Since then, Republicans have described the criticism of advertising as a woken hysteria frenzy. “A pretty girl does a jeans advertising, and you can’t help but freak out. That says much more about her than about us. Without question,” said Vice President JD Vance on Friday.

Former Fox News presenter Megyn Kelly said in her podcast: “We miss attractive people. We are fed up with doing it as if these objectively unattractive people are the new beauty standard … We have the snout full of the crap that is never allowed to celebrate someone who knows, blond and blue-eyed.”

American Eagle comments on criticism – President remains fan

Neither American Eagle nor a representative of SWEENEY commented on the President’s statements. In an Instagram post on Friday, American Eagle wrote: “‘Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans’ refers and always referred to the jeans. Her jeans. Her history. We continue to celebrate how everyone is self-confident.

The president agrees – at least when it comes to what they look like on Republicans.
