Since the Health Insurance Fund was abolished in 2006, adult Dutch people have to or choose their teeth or to pay extra insure themselves. The consequences are poignant in 2025, says Prof. Albert Feilzer. “Those who cannot pay extra, will postpone treatment or choose a cheap alternative: let teeth pull. The time is for other policy.”
