In an accident, just across the German border, an 84-year-old woman from Emmen was seriously injured. The accident happened this morning at the Hauptstraße Hauptstraße and Ter Apeler Straße in Rütenbrock at the intersection of the Rütenbrocker.
There, the 84-year-old driver collided with a delivery van that came from the opposite direction. The woman was trapped by the collision and was freed from her car by the emergency services. She was taken to the hospital.
The two passengers from the delivery van were slightly injured.
