The renovation of the insolvent Streetwear dealer Titus GmbH from Münster was completed. As of July 1, 2025, 24/7 Distribution GmbH took over the central assets of Titus GmbH and continues the business of the skateboard brand Titus. 24/7 Distribution is a retailer specializing in skateboard brands, which also comes from Münster.
The employees of Titus GmbH should also be taken over “largely”. Julius Dittmann, son of the founder Titus Dittmann, who took over the company in 2010, is said to remain the face of the brand.
17 branches are preserved, six closes
Around two thirds of the 23 branches and the outlet store in Münster will now change owners. This affects 17 branches in the cities of Bamberg (Partnershop), Berlin (two partner shops), Bonn (Partnershop), Bremen, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Karlsruhe, Kassel, Cologne, Leipzig, Mönchengladbach, Munich, Münster (two shops) and Osnabrück. Six Titus Skateshops are to be closed in September 2025: in Aachen, Augsburg, Frankfurt, Hamburg (Partnershop), Stuttgart and Wiesbaden.
“We would like to have led all shops and employees into the future, but we had to take into account the difficult overall situation in retail,” adds Nils Gebbers, Managing Director of 24/7 Distribution GmbH. “Julius Dittmann remains the face of the brand. I will continue the B2B competence with the experienced 24/7 team and accompany the integration. We have a great chance of gymnastics. We are here to stay!”
Titus GmbH initiated the renovation process in February 2025 to react to internal challenges – such as the introduction of a new ERP system, the company. The restructuring is to be completed in autumn 2025.
In parallel to the restructuring, Titus launches its own shopping app for iOS and Android.
Titus was founded in 1978 by Brigitta and Titus Dittmann and has been a fixture in the European skateboarding scene since then. With a wide range of hardgoods, clothing and shoes, as well as an international online shop in seven languages and four currencies, Titus announces: inside in 41 countries.
