MMA star fails with a calling against judgment

Tart defeat for Conor McGregor in court. It was around 250,000 euros – which he now has to pay finally.
The Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor failed after allegations of rape with an appeal procedure. On Thursday, an appellate court in Dublin confirmed an earlier judgment that obliges McGregor to pay compensation in the amount of around 250,000 euros. The judges rejected all the arguments of the defense.
The plaintiff, 35 years old today, accuses McGregor of raping and abusing her in a hotel in Dublin in 2018. The 36-year-old denies the accusations and said it was mutually acceptable sex.
McGregor, known under the nickname “The Notorious”, is one of the most prominent characters in the mixed martial arts. The IRE also regularly comments on political issues, including against immigration, and has announced that this year’s presidential election of his country. In March he was visiting the White House and met US President Donald Trump there.
