“With pride and a great sense of responsibility, I act as police chief of the Rotterdam unit,” says Koklu. “I take this position with conviction. The Rotterdam unit is a region with unique challenges and opportunities: metropolitan dynamics, an international port, social tensions and a resilient society come together here.”
Koklu, born in Turkey, has been working with the police since the 1990s. He fulfilled various functions.
Carola Schouten, mayor of Rotterdam, is happy with the lecture of Koklu. “He is a skilled police chief with an eye for the tasks that play in the region and a big heart for the police organization. The administrators in the region are therefore confident that Tolga will commit themselves to the residents of our municipalities with enthusiasm, knowledge and skills and look forward to further cooperation.”
