Syria wants to keep the first parliamentary election after Val Assad in September

Syria is expected to hold its first parliamentary elections in September since the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime in December. The head of the High Electoral Committee, Mohammed al-Ahmad, told the Syrian state news agency Sana that the parliamentary elections would take place between 15 and 20 September.
