The victim, a 32 -year -old man, was on vacation on the coast and stayed with two women in an apartment on Lippenslaan. Around 3 o’clock in the morning he fell down the window of the fifth floor. The emergency services tried to resuscitate the man, but he died on the spot.
“The circumstances of the fall are fully investigated,” says Griet the Prest of the West Flanders public prosecutor. “We don’t assume bad intent.”
