Many people remember the hit drinks of previous summers, such as pineapple and various sprits. What is this summer’s hit drink?
– This year’s surprise is that there is no surprise, says Juha HelminenS Group chain director from the tourism and restaurant side.
The S Group’s restaurants sell the most familiar drinks.
– After the beers, the second most is the most. The traditional grapefruit compartment is the most popular, followed by a pineapple compartment and then a raspberry compartment.
Noho Partners Business Director Paul Meli says the same situation is in their restaurants.
– No single drink has risen above the others. The popularity of the tentacle continues, and sparkling wine is a popular terrace drink.
Spumantet, or Italian sparkling wines, are also popular in the S Group and are bought in the third most after the tentacle.
Aperol Spritz has come to stay
On the drink side, Aperol Spritz has established itself as a favorite of Finns. It is the most popular drink in both Nohon and S Group restaurants.
– There’s something that strikes customers’ taste buds, says Helminen.

IHKU Helsinki Restaurant Manager Nico Heikkilä says they have no distinctive drink favorites.
– Traditional drinks, such as Gin Tonicit, Kossuvichy and Vodka Soda, hold their ground year after year.
Heikkilä says that for sales, Seltzers are rapidly catching macular racks. To be a surprise, he raises the pear gear sold from the faucet in their restaurant.
Gin Tonicit tough this summer has also been traded in S Group restaurants. The third highest number of vodaredbulles has been sold.
According to Helminen, the chilly early summer may be one of the reasons why no drink has risen above the others.
“On the other hand, July has been sales over a year ago, so people have found back to restaurants,” he says.
