Prussia Münster will briefly break his own transfer record. So far, the second division club spent a maximum of 150,000 euros for a new player: 2002/03 for Martin Przondziono (VfB Lübeck) and last year for Torge Paetow (SC Verl). Antonio Tikvic will soon outbid this sum from FC Watford, but the exact height varies depending on the report.

After the Italian “Sky” reporter Luca Bendoni initially reported 1 million euros and a share of 50 percent resale, “Sport1” wrote of a total amount of 700,000 euros. Either way, record editions for Münster, which only secured relegation last year on the last match day and hired seven out of eight players this summer.
Tikvic is a 21 -year -old central defender who is under contract with FC Watford, but was only allowed to take three missions in cup competitions among professionals. He had spent the past second half of the season at the Graz AK in Austria and completed 15 games there as a regular in the Bundesliga. The German-Croatian, born in Hamburg, was trained, among others, at Hamburger SV, FC St. Pauli and Eintracht Frankfurt, before switching to Udinese Calcio for 650,000 euros via Türkgücü Munich and FC Bayern 2023. There he was allowed to gain a minute of series experience in January 2024.
