Oasis publish live version of “Cigarettes & Alcohol” shortly before their Wembley shows.
Shortly before Oasis will return to the stage for seven sold-out concerts in the London Wembley Stadium from July 25th, the band will publish a new live version of their song “Cigarettes & Alcohol” on Friday, July 25, 2025. The recording comes from the first of the five home shows in Heaton Park in Manchester on July 11, 2025 before a total of 320,000 fans.

On Friday, July 11th, Oasis played the first of five fully sold-out homecoming GIS. The sixth song of the setlist was “Cigarettes & Alcohol”, a moment that has now been immortalized in an energetic live version. “Cigarettes & Alcohol” originally appeared in 1994 on the debut album Definitely Maybe, whereupon “Live Forever” and “Supersonic” can of course also be found. Even if he did not achieve the same cult status as later hits, he remains a central piece of the Oasis-DNA.
