Track available on streaming services
Also available at the start of the weekend on the streaming services. The plan according to the press release: The recording captures the raw energy of the return to Manchester. A moment when Liam and Noel Gallagher were on stage together in their hometown for the first time in years and were celebrated there as a unit.
Hymn of the working class
“Cigarettes & Alcohol” originally appeared in 1994 on the debut album Definitely Maybe, whereupon “Live Forever” and “Supersonic” can of course also be found. The song is considered an hymn of the British working class and describes the rough everyday life in the post -industrial man. Even if he did not achieve the same cult status as later hits, he remains a central piece of the Oasis-DNA. In addition, the band terminated an anniversary edition of (what’s the story) Morning Glory? to the 30th anniversary, which will be released on October 3. On August 22nd, there is also an extensive box set entitled Complete-Studio-Album-Collection.
