The former professional Adil Rami is not a fan of the highly gifted teenager from Barcelona. The Frenchman expressed this with a partly questionable choice of words.
Ex-international Adil Rami made a name for himself in France with provocative statements about Lamine Yamal. Live on his Twitch channel, the 2018 world champion went hard with Barça star Lamine Yamal, even insulted him.
The former defender, in football pension since 2023, primarily criticized the character and the type of Spaniard, which he claimed to be. “I haven’t seen him humanly for two months.”
The 39-year-old said: “There is nothing to say: A crack. And certainly he will win several balloon d’Or, European cups and whatever. But seen humanly …” said Rami in front of the camera and continued with non-youth-free words.
Stone of the impetus for his harsh statements is probably a situation from the final of the Nations League between Spain and Portugal in June.
