Alexa Deters, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Galeria, leaves the department store group.
After more than four years, Deters left Galeria “at his own request and in very appreciative agreement”, the manager announced on Wednesday at the LinkedIn career network. Now a moment has come for them to pause and adjust themselves.
According to her own statements, she has held responsibility for purchasing and marketing in the past ten months. Before her promotion last October, she was active as Director Marketing & Customer Relationship Management (CRM). She was also elected to the Presidium of the Textile Lederwaren (BTE) trade association in May.
Before Deters came to Galeria, she was active for more than eleven years for the Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg, where she started her career as a trainee in the field of fashion management at the end of 2009 and most recently held the management for the INSTORE logistics area.
Anyone who now takes on the role of the CCO for Deters is not yet known.
New Director Buying Signature Categories
In addition to the departure of Deters, there was a further change in purchasing. Franziska Bonn has been responsible for the Signature Categories since June, according to her LinkedIn profile. In November 2012 she came to the company as a department head Merchandise Planning and, like Deters, was previously active for P&C Düsseldorf.
Romina Sauer has also carried out this change, which has been responsible for the hard-go category-beauty, jewelry & watches, home, toys, stationery, seasonal goods-as a director buying for around nine months. At P&C she has been active in various roles since November 2018.
In contrast, Sabine Zollikofer, Director Buying Fashion and Sport, is a real Galeria veteran who, according to LinkedIn, worked for the former department store company Horten before the takeover by Kaufhof and has worked for the past around 38 years in various positions and company forms that today’s Galeria Group has gone through. Zollikofer has held its current position since December 2023. However, she has been working for the categories of Womenswear and laundry as a shopping manager since the beginning of 2018. The role was then successively supplemented by additional areas.
