Garmisch-Partenkirchen is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Bavaria-with over 1.2 million overnight stays in 2024, the place is one of the top ten destinations in the state. This makes him the ideal location for the next store of the New Zealand-inspired men’s fashion brand NZA New Zealand Auckland. The new shop specifically speaks tourists, outdoor fans, international visitors: inside and the local population-and thus fits perfectly with the brand identity of NZA, which stands for thirst for adventure and timeless style.
Flagship store in a historical building
The new store is located at Kurpark 5, 82467 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the middle of the pedestrian zone. The large building with a traditional ventilation facade offers a special atmosphere that fits perfectly with the high-quality NZA stores. The brand’s collections are presented on around 200 m² of retail space – stylish, high quality and in a store that is designed as a flagship fedia for Germany. The opening is planned for mid -September 2025.
Further expansion into planning
NZA New Zealand Auckland was founded in the Netherlands in 2010 and today operates more than 50 own stores in Europe. Germany is considered a particularly important growth market for the brand. Another opening in Dresden is planned for spring 2026. NZA thus continues its strategic expansion in Germany – with locations that target visibility, tourism and high frequency.
