One of those cemeteries where Boyd is at work is the Bleuet Farm Cemetery in Elverdinge near Ypres, where both casualties from the First and Second World War are buried. With a hoe in his hand, he weed the weeds between the tombstones. “We maintain a total of nearly fifty cemeteries and monuments,” says Boyd. “That goes from small to very large sites and every time the work is different.”
