Borussia Mönchengladbach has extended Franck Honorat’s contract, which was still valid until 2028, by another year. The foals officially announced this on Tuesday. The 28 -year -old wing striker switched from Stade Brest 29 to Borussia in July 2023, since the Frenchman has played 56 games with 4,236 minutes and came to ten goals and 22 templates – that makes a goal participation every 132 minutes.
Sports Managing Director Roland Virkus said: “In his first two years in our first two years, we have become an important pillar in our game, one of the top priorities in the Bundesliga and one of the faces of this team.” Honorat’s market value rose from EUR 10 million to 12 million euros after its change of Gladbach and has been constantly at this level since December 2023. Longer than fee (and three other professionals) is only bound by newcomers Kevin Diks (28) to Borussia – until 2030.
Honorat said: “I am very happy to continue the adventure with Borussia. I see the contract extension as a reward for what I have tried to give the club so far. And I will continue to do my best to be 100 percent for the team. The past two years were for the integration and the arrival at Borussia. Now I feel free and self -confidence.
