Last year, the Stuttgart fashion retailer achieved a large Merchandise Volume (GMV, gross rare value) of 1.6 billion euros, confirmed a company spokesman at the request of fashionunited. The Handelsblatt business newspaper had previously reported. In the previous year comparison, the GMV rose by around six percent.

In 2024, the online business made up around 60 percent of total sales. The company is active with its web shop in ten countries – Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the Czech Republic – and invested in the redesign of its digital presence in 2023.

“Breuninger grows constant, sustainable and is profitable in all markets,” said the spokesman.
