A former police officer was sentenced in the US state of Kentucky on Monday to 2 years and 9 months in prison for violating the civil rights of Breonna Taylor. The agent, Brett Hankison, was involved in the house search that Taylor, a black woman, became fatal in March 2020. He had already been guilty in the case at the end of last year.
