After the death of Felix Baumgartner, his partner Mihaela Schwartzenberg again registered. She posted a video of the death flight.
Mihaela Schwartzenberg posted a video on the platform X, which Baumgartner shows before the start of his death flight, as well as the first seconds in the air. The 55-year-old wrote an emotional message.
She started her message with the words: “I filmed him when lifting without knowing that this would be the last flight of his extraordinary life.” Then she continued: “For more than 12 years I was there every time I started and landing, from sky jumping to paragliding, helicopter flights, circular flying to aerobatic demonstrations.”
She explained to her followers: “And if I couldn’t be there on some helicopter flights, we had the WLC code -” The Wifey Landing Call “. I never missed one. Except for … this one.” Felix Baumgartner was mainly known for his stratospheric jump from a height of around 39 kilometers in 2012. Schwartzenberg therefore said in her post that he was now “at home”, “up there where he was happiest”.
She thanked all of the participants for their support and emphasized what a special man Felix Baumgartner was. “I will make sure that I will continue to tell his story,” said Schwartzenberg, which said. “But now I have to finish with the shock, pain and the sunrises, where I can only cook a coffee, not two.”
