Due to work on the railway, there are no trains between Assen and Hoogeveen from Friday 18 July against 05.00. Replacement bus transport has been arranged. The extra travel time is about fifteen minutes.
During the weekend, ProRail works on the track between Assen and Hoogeveen, among other things, sleepers and rails are renewed and there are work on the signals. The level crossing is also being renewed in some places and overhead leaders are placed.
Work on the track was already planned and have nothing to do with the collision between a train and a car last Monday, July 14 at Assen.
