Bit tormented
But Victor says: “I would really alternate a little more and not just wear sand -colored outfits. I have three reasons for it. First of all: it’s just a bit boring. Yes, always sandy is a bit boring. Most people on television wear bright colors, because the eye is stimulated more.”
What is the second reason? “It emphasizes his lack of a pronounced personality. In a sense, his vanilla personality is his strength in that program. The other people are more pronounced, so it makes sense to have someone at the center who is a bit more vanilla. That’s a good balance to have.”
Background
Luuk, however, goes through, Victor believes. “Because of his very very sand -colored clothing style, he sometimes falls a little in the background. You get more attention and more appreciation from the viewer if you pronounce yourself a little more in terms of clothing. That compensates for the less pronounced personality.”
“The last reason is: it is not in line with the Tone of Voice of the program. Sand -colored does not fit a program that is very flashy. It is a program that is about stars, fashion, entertainment. It fits that program to wear a little more pronounced outfits,” he concludes.
