The British outdoor equipment Berghaus Ltd. has filled a key post. On Tuesday, the company announced the appointment of Adam Field as Vice President for Brand Marketing.
Field thus takes over the management of the label’s global marketing teams. In his new role, he reports directly to Charlie Pym, the Senior Global Vice President of Berghaus.
According to the outdoor equipment belonging to the Pentland Brand group, Field has 19 years of experience in the marketing departments of leading companies from the trade and sports industry. Most recently he was Head of Marketing at the British fashion brand Reiss, before that he worked for Nike and the English Football Club Chelsea FC.
One of Field’s main tasks is now to promote the growth of Berghaus in non-European markets with targeted marketing activities. The newcomer is looking forward to the challenge: “In view of the global expansion and the introduction of new innovative products, this position is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of a unique British brand and to revolutionize the outdoor category,” explained Field in a statement.
