According to the agency, room and the group leaders of the majority would have established this path at the end of a meeting on the sale of the stadium and the areas in Inter and Milan lasting over two hours: close the agreement with the clubs in the next few days, bring the resolution to the council on Monday 21 July and convene a couple of commissions next week and then land in the city council with the discussion. The meeting would, however, also had moments of tension with the first citizen who would leave the room. At this point it is not obvious that it is possible to close the game by 31 July: in this sense, doubts also emerge from the majority. “In the classroom our position will remain the one that has always been – explained the group leader of the Greens, Tommaso Gorini -, that is, that this path is not the right choice for the city”. “It was an interlocutory meeting in which various aspects of the negotiation have been deepened, which is not yet completed – added the leader Pd Beatrice Uguccioni -. It is not the best time to deal with this act because we are in the discussion phase of setting up the budget, we will see if you can close everything by the end of the month, we will do everything to bring the documents to the council on the expected times”.

In the meantime, the city councilors of the center -right protested at the beginning of the city council session, singing a series of stadium choirs to the outrage in the classroom (“Beppe Sala I got out of the office”, the text) and asking the mayor to report in the classroom on the outline for the sale of the stadium. A delegation, then, left the Council’s classroom and rose to the first floor of Palazzo Marino to play at the door of the first citizen’s office, to be received.
