Germany prepares 2 patriot systems for Ukraine
Germany prepares the delivery of two patriot systems to Ukraine. That is what the German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius said on Monday in Washington after a meeting with his American colleague Pete Hegseeth.
Earlier on Monday, NATO chef Mark Rutte announced that Ukraine will receive “Air defense weapons, rockets and ammunition” thanks to a new weapon deal with the United States. Patriots can be used to shoot aircraft, helicopters, drones and rockets from the sky. Each system consists of a number of parts and can launch multiple rockets. Ukraine has various patriot systems and also used them. The Dutch armed forces also has patriot systems.
