Although she already received her ‘certificate of Attendance’ today, she has to wait a while for her diploma. Because of her previously sustained arm fracture, she has received a delay for one box, so that she will officially complete her bachelor’s degree.
For her final thesis, she devoted herself to the world of artificial intelligence and European fundamental rights. With her research ‘Beyond Disclosure: Bridging the Gap Between the Artificial Intelligence Act and the Charter of Fundamental Rights with Deepfaked Bodies’, she investigated the tension between fundamental rights and AI legislation.
In the new academic year, Amalia starts a new UvA bachelor of Dutch law and will participate in the Defensity College training program.
