Johan Derksen becomes completely east of types such as Amber Kortzorg. He thinks it is a shame that the presenter of Kassa has not continued her resignation. “Then you would have been rid of that!”
Kassa star Amber Kortzorg and her colleagues at BNNVARA are on their moral hind legs: after the departure of Sophie Hilbrand, a man was put forward again. And not just one, but a fresh white man named Tim de Wit. As if that is not bad enough, he can take a seat next to another white man: Jeroen Pauw.
Threaten with exit
The two gentlemen are the face of the new late talk show of BNNVARA, Pauw & De Wit, and Amber finds that indigestible. Earlier this year, she already revealed that his role as a replacement – after Jeroen and Sophie – was almost reason for her to resign. She is in all kinds of inclusion committees at the broadcaster and she thought this was going too far.
She frightened: “I recently even considered resigning when a third presenter was sought for Talkshow Bar Laat and that again became a white man.”
“Get rid of it!”
Johan Derksen does not understand Amber and her colleagues at all. “Yes, I think it is as on collegial as fifty employees say so, because look: it must be a woman, a black woman preferably. A black lesbian woman preferably. But one thing is above water: Pim de Wit (means Tim, ed.), He did well.”
He continues in the podcast Greetings from Grolloo: “Ten times better than that girl what was there for him. And why don’t you put that boy there? Because he is a white white man? What nonsense, where do you get it?”
“Get rid of it!”
They are a couple of crazy people, says Johan. “And then the lady who presents at Kassa, who even wanted to resign. Then I think: guys, if that immediately approved that dismissal, then you would have been rid of it anyway! It is ridiculous that people in the boss are busy with things like that.”
Only the quality must apply, he concludes. “And whether you are black, white or brown? Not relevant. Tim did it very well, but he doesn’t look sexy, you know. There is a dick of lamp cotton, but he has a lot of knowledge and he can let the conversation run smoothly.”
