Local residents were startled by a hard bang shortly after half past eight tonight. An explosive went off at the front door of a house in the street. The residents of the building were at that time at home, but, according to the police, were not injured.
Front door of the house is out of it due to the explosion
The damage due to the explosion is great. The front door of the house is completely out of it and on images of the explosion there is some soot damage on the wall next to the door. After the explosion, a brief fire broke out at the house, but the resident of the building quickly extinguished.
The police are now looking for the possible perpetrator of the explosion. According to a police spokesperson, local residents have seen someone drive away in a car after the explosion. The police are now looking for this person including a helicopter.
Street partly deposited due to research at the home
Why the home was target is not known. The police are currently investigating the house. The fire brigade is also present at the building because of the fire that arose shortly after the explosion. A large part of the street has been closed to give emergency services the space.
