Belgium’s cycling legend Eddy Merckx (80) had to undergo a hip operation again in a hospital in Antwerp. According to the Belgian TV broadcaster Sporza, there are said to have complications with a hip prosthesis.
The five -time winner of the Tour de France had suffered a thigh neck break at the end of last year after a training session by bike.

Merckx won 525 victories in his career from 1965 to 1977, won the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia five times, became three times a professional world champion, collected classic victories in rows and set up an hourly world record.
