Minister of Finance Riikka Purra (PS) left special greetings at the Seinäjoki Tango Market on Saturday before the final of the song competition.
Purra gave a very poetic speech about the birth, meaning and its connection to Finnishness.
– Tango is the most Finnish music in the world, he started.
As part of the tango as part of the Finnish national identity, he took his speech in an increasingly lyrical direction.
– The tango has risen from our Finnish, Kulia chamber like a boost from the moss.
Known for his racist frenzy, his speech thanked the Finnish Roma Community next in his speech.
– Of course, the tango cannot be talked about without mentioning the Finnish Roma community. Taisto Tammi, Markus Allan And the countless other artists who came behind them play the most sensitive languages of the Finnish soul, Purra said in his speech.

Purra’s speech continued to be more poetic as it progressed.
– You woman here, you can still feel how the summer linen caressed your skin as you walk a young man at home towards the dance floor.
“Or you man, do you still remember how the drug of your partner felt when you dropped your hand for the first time,” he continued.
At the end of his speech, Purra emphasized how tango is a speechless language of love that combines emotions, music and a common celebration.
– Dance and love the tango, this country and, above all, each other, he concluded his speech.
Purra wrote in 2008 MP Jussi Halla-aho Numerous messages in the online blog’s guestbook that received subtle criticism of different minorities. The Roma were one of the minority groups criticized.
In 2023, these guestbook messages came to the public, and Iltalehti published them in its entirety.
