The beloved Halloum Himurger is not sold at Hesburger restaurants this summer.

This is confirmed by Iltalehti Hesburger’s Director of International Communications and Marketing Ieva Salmela.

– Last summer, the interest of the Hallouma burger was down, which is why we will not take the campaign this summer. This time our July campaign delicacy was selected by a cheddarpekon burger, he writes in his email response.

The Halloum Himurger has been a popular campaign product sold at Hesburger restaurants during the summer time since 2019.

In addition to Halloum cheese, the Hamburg found leaf salad, tomato, marinated red onion and Hesburger’s own paprika mayonnaise.

The summer vegetable burger was in the mind of the customers.

– We have received a lot of positive feedback on the Halloumuri. It is one of the products that have been permanently desired in our range, says Salmela.

Other options

Although Burger is not seen in the selection this summer, it may return to the menu in the future.

– At the moment there is no decision to return, but we take our customers’ wishes into account when planning future campaigns.

Salmela recalls that Hesburger has several other vegetarian products in its range. He says that they are becoming campaign products for the coming autumn.

– We have a goal that by 2030, half of our basic selection of salty products sold is meatless. However, we do not include campaign products and French potatoes for this goal.

Last week, Hesburger announced that it would stop selling a children’s meal in the spring of 2026.
