GERVONTA Davis, unbeaten lightweight world champion in boxing, has apparently been arrested. As several US media unanimously report, the 30-year-old was arrested in Miami on Friday. He is charged to assault and domestic violence.
The incident is said to have occurred on June 15th. According to the reports, Davis wanted to pick up his two children from his ex-partner, and there was an argument. During his course, he injured the woman on the back of the head and slap in the face. She therefore suffered a laceration on the Lippe.
Sporty Davis was last deployed in March. In the duel against Lamont Roach, the American in New York came to a controversial draw and thus defended his title. His impressive combat balance remains: 30 victories-28 through knock-out-and a draw.
