At a customs control at a fruit company in Breda, 108 kilos of cocaine was discovered on Wednesday. The Public Prosecution Service announced this on Thursday evening.

The cocaine, which was hidden in a load of bananas, came from Ecuador and intended for further transport to Spain.

In the pallets
The narcotic drugs were hidden in wooden blocks in the pallets, under the boxes with fruit. All pallets contained cylindrical packages of cocaine.

Customs and police have secured the drugs.

HARC team
The HARC team, a joint venture of Customs, the FIOD, the Seaport Police and the Public Prosecution Service in Rotterdam, has further investigating the case.
