This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs was open from June 1st to June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.
The French international Théo Hernández leaves AC Milan after six years and changes to the desert. As Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia announced on Thursday, the 27-year-old signed a contract until summer 2028. According to Italian media reports, 25 million euros are due for the left-back.
In a contribution on Instagram, Hernández did not miss a small tip against his ex-club in addition to warm farewell words. “The direction that the club has taken and some of the recent decisions do not reflect the values or the ambition that brought me here,” he wrote, although his priority was always “Milan”.
Hernández played 262 competitive games for the Rossoneri, celebrated the Italian championship in 2022 and celebrated the triumph in the super cup in 2025. The former Bundesliga goalkeeper Edin Džeko will in future appear alongside international Robin Gosens. The 39 -year -old Bosnian moves to Italian series A to AC Florence, as the club announced.
