With sedan and Berlina bodies, the KIA EV4 unchecks the fashion of SUVs without losing habitability or trunk capacity. In the four -door Hatchback option with rear gate, there are 435 capacity liters; while in the five -door Berlina it grows to 490 liters.
The measures of this new Kia EV4 also vary depending on the chosen body. The Berlina reaches 4.73 meters long and the sedan stays at 4.43 meters. However, the interior of both is designed to combine comfort, technology and simplicity.
‘Relaxed’ technology
Without lacking anything, with two 12.3 -inch screens that function as a digital instrument frame and entrance door to the infotainment system, separated by a 5 -inch touch control to control the air conditioner; The cabin of the new Kia Ev4 is a space of tranquility and simplicity.
A modern and clear dashboard, with backlit touch buttons and storage compartments on the central bridge, the interior space of this car is ordered and transmits visual calm. The seats, which automatically adjust with modes such as cinema or rest, have just contributed to generate this feeling of calm.
The EV4 technology is reflected both in its infotainment system, with which thanks to the Smart TV vehicle you can enjoy different streaming platforms (and even karaoke), as in the assistance of artificial intelligence or the digital key to open and close the car, which can be installed even in a smart watch.
More than 600 kilometers of autonomy
Mounted on the 400 Volts of Kia E-GMP platform, the EV4 is its first electric sedan. The buyer can choose between two battery sizes: one of 58.3 kWh and another of 81.4 kWh. The autonomy of the KIA EV4 ranges from 430 to 630 kilometers depending on the size of the chosen battery. Fast charging time stays at half an hour.
Speaking of motor power, it will only see a single 150 kW (or 200 hp) front propeller, which will allow 0 to 100 km/h between 7.4 and 7.7 seconds, depending on the chosen body.
As a good electric, the KIA EV4 also has a regenerative braking, but takes it to another level thanks to I-Pedal 3.0, with which you can enjoy different levels of adaptive intelligent braking and that also acts back in the parking maneuvers. The I-Pedal 3.0 has memory, so it is only necessary to configure it once.
The new KIA EV4 will be marketed from next year. For the sedan version, there will be three finishes to choose with different equipment levels: Air, Earth and GT-Line. In the case of the Berlina five doors, the available finishes will be only two last, the GT-Line being the most dynamic of all of them.
