On Friday (July 11th) Iron Maiden will play in the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen. It is the first of her five Germany concerts. After Gelsenkirchen we continue to Bremen, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin. The shows are part of their “Run for your Lives World Tour”, which started in Milan in May. A total of 32 concerts are to take place in Europe.

There are still a few tickets over Eventim available. Standing rooms in the scale cost around 105 euros. Seats are no longer available in regular trading.

Arrival by car or motorcycle

Drive to the Veltins-Arena
By car you can reach the A2 via exit 6 (Gelsenkirchen-Buer) and the 17 (Gelsenkirchen-Schalke) exit on the A42 directly to the arena. From the junctions, please follow the signage to the Veltins-Arena.
Arrival with navigation system
Enter parking spaces A, B, C1, C2, C3 and cinema center, “Adenauerallee”. Enter the parking lots D1, D2, D3, D4, E1 and E2, “Willy-Brandt-Allee”.
Access VIP parking spaces
The VIP parking spaces P1, PH1 and P2 can be reached via the Stan Libuda-Weg, the VIP parking lot P3 via Ernst-Kuzorra-Weg and P7 via the Berni Klodt-Weg.
Park
A total of 14,000 parking spaces are available on site.
Arrival by public transport
Users of public transport are cheapest with tram line 302 to the club premises, which from Bochum Hbf via Gelsenkirchen Hbf in the direction of GEBUER to the “Veltins-Arena” stop.
From the main train station Gelsenkirchen
The tram stop is located in the 1st basement of the train station. With the tram line 302 (towards GE-BUER) you can drive to the “Veltins-Arena” stop. The journey takes about 15 minutes. People restricted in their mobility should already get out at the “Willy-Brandt-Allee” stop, as this stop is barrier-free and only slightly further away from the arena. Timetable information of the tram can be found in the timetable information of the VRR (transport association Rhein-Ruhr).
Weather
The weather on the concert day should be warm but cloudy. Around 21 degrees are expected at noon, in the evening the sun should show up again, the temperatures remain stable. From 10 p.m. it cools down slightly to about 18 degrees. Rain is not predicted for the day.
