National player changes the club during the European Championship

Sydney Lohmann is a Bayern block in the national team. Or rather: counted. Because the midfielder changes to the island.
National player Sydney Lohmann leaves FC Bayern Munich and joins Manchester City for the new season. The club announced this on Wednesday. This ends their time at the German Double winner after nine years.
“The past nine years have a very special meaning in my life, I am incredibly grateful to FC Bayern,” Lohmann was quoted in the statement of the club. Since 2016, the midfielder had worn the Munich jersey and won four championship titles as well as the DFB Cup and the Supercup during this time.
An indication of her change had already appeared last week: the media reported that a jersey with Lohmann’s name was briefly available in the Manchester City online shop. Now the transfer is official.
The 25-year-old is currently working with the German national team at the European Championship in Switzerland. At her new club, she will also meet DFB colleague Rebecca Knaak in the future.
